Synchronizing Across Multiple Cloud ADs
The AD Connect Sync can also synchronize users from a single on-premises AD to multiple cloud ADs. Each independent cloud AD can have its own settings. You may also specify some objects of an OU to be synchronized with one cloud AD and some with another. Even a single user can be synchronized with more than one cloud ADs simultaneously.
 |
Before proceeding with the settings, the HCdirSync registry needs to be modified. Multiple Cloud DCs cannot appear in the HCdirSync tool without explicitly enabling these changes in the registry. To enable the changes, see How to Add Multiple Cloud DCs.

In order to perform synchronization across multiple cloud ADs, the following settings need to be performed on-premises.

- Cloud AD Settings
Each independent cloud AD can have its own settings. You need to select the appropriate cloud from the top right corner and specify its settings. After the settings for the first cloud have been added and saved, you may proceed to add settings for the second.
- Settings for First Cloud AD
The following settings need to be performed at the cloud end.

- Settings for Second Cloud AD
After settings for the first cloud AD have been saved, proceed to add the second cloud AD to AD Connect Sync.
